Welcome to Hello Invoice! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Hello Invoice ("Service"), operated by Wayne Dunkley ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Hello Invoice.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all invoices and financial data entered into the Service.
- You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purposes, including fraudulent activity or money laundering.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect misuse of the Service.
2. Accounts and Security
- You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- We are not liable for any unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to secure it.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach of your account.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
- Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as required by law.
- We may modify pricing with prior notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
- If payment fails, we may suspend your access until payment is made.
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying where required.
4. Invoices and Payment Processing
- You are responsible for all invoices created and sent using Hello Invoice.
- Payment processing via Stripe's terms and policies.
- We are not responsible for payment disputes between you and your customers.
- We do not act as a payment processor or hold any funds on your behalf.
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable financial, tax, and invoicing laws in your jurisdiction.
5. Intellectual Property and License
- Hello Invoice and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, or resell any part of the Service without our written permission.
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for its intended purpose.
6. Termination and Suspension
- You may cancel your account at any time, but no refunds will be issued.
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
- Termination of your account does not relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity.
- Transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
- Disrupt, interfere with, or overburden the Service.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to collect data from the Service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
